No... But I know the cast of season 7 can!
Check out this 8 count to the beat of why you will love SYTYCD more than ever before:
1.
The judges have weeded through all of the filler dancers that previously took up the really talented performers' stage time and reduced the competitor list to a simple top 10 (well, 11). Now we won't have to waste any time figuring out the 10 that really shouldn't have been there in the first place! We can just focus on the chosen few, which will allow us to know them on a more personal level, eventually helping us choose who to call in our votes for.
Here's this season's top
AdéChiké Torbert (23) is from Brooklyn, NY and his dance expertise is Contemporary.
Alexie Agdeppa (26) is from Rowland Heights, CA and her dance expertise is Jazz.
Alex Wong (23) is from Vancouver, Canada and his dance expertise is Ballet.
Ashley Galvan (19) is from Visalia, CA and her dance expertise is Lyrical.
Billy Bell (20) is from West Palm Beach, FL and his dance expertise is Contemporary.
Cristina Santana (24) is from San Diego, CA and her dance expertise is Salsa.
Jose Ruiz (21) is from Miami, FL and his dance expertise is B-Boy.
Kent Boyd (18) is from Botkins, OH and his dance expertise is Contemporary Jazz.
Lauren Froderman (18) is from Phoenix, AZ and her dance expertise is Contemporary Jazz.
Melinda Sullivan (22) is from Thousand Oaks, CA and her dance expertise is Tap.
Robert Roldan (19) is from Thousand Oaks, CA and his dance expertise is Contemporary.
2. Mama Mia!
She's Back! Mia Michaels joins Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman as a resident judge, which means the ride on the crazy train with Mary Murphy with is finally over! As much as I love Tony award winning Mia Michaels- I don't know how I am going to react to the show with no one to laugh at! In case you have forgotten since last season, check out Mary Murphy's reactions to some of her favorite dances...
3. Kent Boyd is SINGLE! (and kind of creepy)
In his 11 second introduction clip, all Kent really told us was that he is single. THEN, after he danced, Cat brought it up again and asked him what kind of lady he is looking for. He answered with "Someone like my mom! Or Beyonce!" Although he is one of my favorite dancers, I hope he keeps his comments like this to a minimum in the future... these outbursts could rub people the wrong way and hurt his chances of winning!
4. Cat's can't-miss fashion
Well really, how could you miss her... she's 6 feet tall! On top of that she wears 6 inch heels, and this week, wears a rainbow sherbert explosion of a dress! As always, Cat Deeley, one of UKs top TV personalities, brings witty comments and comfort to the contestants after harsh judgements.
5. All types of dancing shown on one stage!
Ballet - Who can argue with super fit guys/girls in skin tight costumes?!
Contemporary - Nobody likes to watch something that's been done before! Show us the new stuff!
Jazz - Who doesn't love a little Jack from Will & Grace razzle-dazzle Jazz Hands humor? I know I do!
Tap- The phrase "Tap That" has a whole new meaning after watching Passia dance with his shirt off!
Salsa- This isn't the only type of dip you will find to feed your reality show appetite... This season also includes flips and dips, quick dips in the crazy pool with guest judge Mary Murphy, and dip shit comments, such as the one shown in this 11 second introduction clip ... it's a good thing they can dance, right?
6. Hot, Hot, Hot people, costumes, and choreography!
Words cannot truly describe what happened between Christina, Anya, and Passia.
Watch this clip and tell me it doesn't scream threesome!

7. The exhibition of the FREAK and the BEAST!
In the final dance of the night, they put the two best dancers together for a wild show of talent! Billy Bell, a FREAK of nature, displays his flexibility while Alex Wong, the "technically perfect BEAST" portrayed Mia Michaels' choreography better than even she could have imagined!
8. Shuffle, Ball, Change, Change, and more Change!
This summer the show changed all of the rules! Its still the same show we all know and love... just with a few exciting twists that will shift the whole paradigm of the season as we know it.
*There will be an All-Star Team, bringing back favorites from seasons past. This will raise the bar for the new contestants as well as bring back audience members that fell in love with certain dancers from seasons 1-6.
*It is now completely live, which means we can watch the possibility of mistakes such as New Yorker, Mia Michaels, slip with her sailor mouth, bring a sense of community with the viewers, and show spontaneity.
*Only 1 contestant gets kicked off per week.
*The dancing partners change every week.
*Less than 4 dancers will compete in the finale.
Before this season, SYTYCD had arranged the competition so contestants always danced in pairs; a male and female dancer had to be sent home each week, because otherwise one dancer would be left without a partner. With these changes, however, the producers of SYTYCD seem to be hinting that this season will turn out to be completely different!
Personally, I am happy that Mia Michaels is one of the new judges. As someone with so much experience in both jazz and contemporary, Mia will help level out the judging. Though she may not be quite as funny, she is extremely talented and can see dance from a totally different perspective.
